Unlocking Time's Mysteries: How "The Order of Time" Redefines Our Universe and Existence

In the vast expanse of literature exploring the mysteries of the universe, few books manage to blend the profound complexities of theoretical physics with the existential nuances of human experience quite like Carlo Rovelli's "The Order of Time". As an astrophysicist renowned for his contributions to the field of quantum gravity, Rovelli embarks on a […]

Unlocking Success: Beyond 'Who You Know' to 'Who Knows Your Worth

In the labyrinth of professional success, the age-old adage "it's not what you know, but who you know" often echoes, but I've stumbled upon a variation that digs deeper and truly resonates with me. "Furthermore, it's who you know that knows you know what you know. You know?" This quirky, extended version not only highlights […]

Embracing the Uncomfortable: How Radical Honesty Transforms Relationships & Boosts Authenticity

Hello, dear readers! It's me, Frank, and if you've been following my musings for a while, you know I'm all about cutting through the fluff to get to the heart of matters. I often say, "I prefer to upset you right up-front," which might seem a bit jarring at first. But let me tell you, […]

Embracing Failure: How Making Innovative Mistakes Can Lead to Unprecedented Success

In both my personal and professional life, I've always held a guiding principle close to my heart: "I strive to make new, and innovative, mistakes." This mantra is more than just a quirky saying; it's a reflection of my deep-seated belief in the importance of learning, growing, and evolving through the experiences life throws our […]

Embracing 'Not My Problem': The Modern Mantra for Personal Peace and Boundaries

In our fast-paced world, where the lines between personal accountability and external burdens often become indistinct, the quest for a guiding principle to navigate through life’s complexities is more crucial than ever. Among the vast array of philosophical insights and age-old wisdoms that have been offered to steer us through life’s ups and downs, there […]

Deep Work in Practice: Boosting Productivity and Focus in Digital Marketing

In our ever-evolving digital landscape, the ability to focus deeply and produce high-quality work is becoming both increasingly challenging and valuable. This is the central premise of Cal Newport's insightful book, "Deep Work," which I recently had the pleasure of exploring. I found the principles of "Deep Work" particularly resonant, offering a fresh perspective on […]

Investment Diversification

The most obvious form of investment diversification that most people think about is related to their finances. You may be diversified in your stock portfolio or you may own different asset classes, like stocks and real estate. However, I have a much broader way that I approach investment diversification in my business, savings, exercise, and […]

Digital Divide

Over the past year I have been introduced to the modern digital divide. Around 2010, I worked with M@IN (Mountain Area Information Network) to install wireless internet service for rural towns in western North Carolina. I stopped doing this work many years ago while I continued my college education. Unfortunately, I learned that the problem […]

Seasonal Climate Change

In my garden and near the river, the impact of seasonal climate change can be seen. We have had two significant, but not devastating, floods in this neighborhood over the past year. My neighbors, who have lived here for decades, say that this type of flooding typically happens ever few years. Seeing these water levels […]

The New Normal

Almost one year ago, in March of 2020, I put a storage tote on my front deck to allow deliveries to be dropped off while social distancing. This week, that storage bin was upgraded for the new normal. This bench is also a storage box. My wife and I can sit here and watch the […]

Spring Projects

It's only the second week of February and I'm already working on a long list of projects to kick off the new year. These are related to my business, my home, and my garden. All of these tasks will be completed, of moved into a maintenance routine, by the middle of April. Business Spring Projects […]

Pandemic Gardening

At the end of 2019, I purchased a home on 1.3 acres in Greenville, NC. Since Barbie is attending graduate school at ECU, we had been paying rent for a townhouse near the college. This new home only moved us 10 minutes further from the school and the mortgage was only $50 more than our […]

Hunters & Farmers

How do you grow your business and find customers - are you a hunter or a farmer? At the beginning of 2020, I joined the local BNI group in Greenville, NC (you can visit our chapter if you're in the area, or via Zoom during the pandemic). Another thing that happened at the beginning of […]

New Year, New Beginning

Like most people, I have set numerous resolutions at the start of a new year - only to abandon those resolutions before the end of January. It is incredibly difficult to create a new habit and stick with it for 365 days without faltering. Even worse, when I do stumble it becomes much easier to […]

Expanding Beyond Consulting

Many clients have been asking me to offer a more complete solution for their website. I have helped them 2X, 10X, and 12X their businesses and now they're struggling with more technical challenges. Things like redesigning their site, upgrading to HTTPS, and troubleshooting their site - these have proven to be significant hurdles. Starting today, […]

Monetization with AdSense and Other Ad Networks

Once you have a niche website setup, and begin getting some traffic, Google AdSense becomes a very appealing way to start earning some money. This is a common first step for most niche sites, so it’s worth a deeper exploration. Let’s take a look at what is required to earn $100 per day using AdSense […]

  • Frank knows his stuff when it comes to growing businesses for lifestyle design. From travel hacks to minimalism he'll quickly help you realize that your way is not the only way!

  • A few years ago I was looking for a way to get more active in the local Raleigh SEO community. I found the Raleigh SEO Meetup and went to my first session. There I met Frank, and have been a part of the group ever since. Frank has managed to move the starved group from meeting in a library, to having some of the biggest names in SEO speak. In addition, he helped the group spawn a very successful conference that received considerable praise for organization and content. The Raleigh SEO Meetup continues to grow and give great content to the Raleigh community under his leadership.

  • Besides his extensive business and technical expertise, Frank is an honest, trustworthy guy. We've developed a strong partnership that's lasted years. I trust his advice more than anyone I've ever interacted with in the online business world.

I'd strongly recommend his services, and I wish we had more people like him in the online business sector.
