Frank C Jones » Uncategorized http://www.frankcjones.com/frankcjones/blog2 My Blog Sun, 31 Jan 2010 17:43:24 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=abc Photo Portfolio http://www.frankcjones.com/frankcjones/blog2/archives/73 http://www.frankcjones.com/frankcjones/blog2/archives/73#comments Mon, 06 Apr 2009 02:03:14 +0000 frankcjones http://frankcjones.com/blog/?p=73 I’m working to get into photography professionally and have sold a few of my photos at events such at the Apple Festival in Hendersonville.  I enjoy landscapes and nature photography but I have shot a few events as well and would like to get into wedding photography.  I’ve attached a mixture of photos from my portfolio and I will be shooting a wedding in a couple weeks and will upload some of those photos as well.  I prefer candids and often tell people that if they can just ignore me I can get far better photos than they would expect such as these photos (IMPG1209-1 & IMPG1215-1).  To this end I will often use a zoom lens and capture shots from across a room, through a window, or from behind other people as in these photos (IMPG1195-1 & IMPG1237-1).  These often provide interesting frames for the subject such as seen in these photos (IMPG1266-1 & _IGP7175).  Then there are always some people who just love to pose for the camera and beg to have their picture taken such as this (_IGP6843).  I know that the landscape and nature photos don’t really apply to weddings but they should help you get an idea of my photographic style.  I would love to get your feedback in the comments of this post, thanks.
